Our stay spent in this villa was pure happiness for us and our teenagers! Located in the countryside with only the sound of cicadas singing but without being too far from tourist sites. What a pleasure to find a fridge full of various pastries when we arrive at 10pm! If we have a chance to come back to the ridge, we will come back here without hesitation!! A large, well equipped house in very good condition. The reception was very warm and communication with the host was easy and quick. The house is in a small village and is especially excellent for people seeking tranquility and relaxation. In the village tavern, you will also be warmly welcomed as a traveler and get delicious food at honest prices. By car, you can reach the sea in 15-20 minutes (Serpentin roads, not everywhere in good condition), where you will also find beautiful beaches and towns with good tourist infrastructure. In the area there are also a variety of destinations for worthwhile excursions.

A wonderful villa in a quiet area. Perfect for a family with children or a larger group. We found nice surprises in the fridge when we arrived, and there were more during the holiday. The cleaner came three times during our vacation and cleaned the whole house. The nice village of Georgioupoli is about 5 km away, where you can find many restaurants and shops. It is good to have your own car during your vacation.

Our stay at Villa Ikarus has been amazing from start to finish! We travelled with our 2 teenage children and 1 of their friends. Arriving at the villa late in the evening, to a fridge of goodies made by Pavlos mother, they were delicious. The amazing surprise birthday cake for my husband, was one of the best we have ever eaten. Handmade and delivered by Pavlos' mother. It was a perfect mix of peace and tranquility at the villa, with the beautiful mountain views. And just a 10 minute drive/or taxi ride in to Georgioupoli for the beaches and bars. We loved sitting out in the evenings, waiting for Pavlos father ti pass with his sheep, and then waiting for the wildlife to arrive. We even got to see a Cretian Marten. We will definitely be recommending this Villa to our family and friends, and will hopefully be back. So thank you Pavlos, and your beautiful family (including your new beautiful daughter) X x ❤️

House 15 minutes from the village and the sea. Very quiet place, view of the mountains. The house is functional, very pleasant to stay in, pleasant terrace. The pool is really a plus. The hosts are very welcoming. Beautiful rental for up to 6 people.

The pastries on arrival and during the stay were excellent, what a pleasure and surprise to discover all this for us! The accommodation is conveniently located for visiting western Crete.

We loved Villa Ikaros and would come back anytime. Communication with our hosts was great. The rooms were all very clean, the kitchen was very well equipped, and the terrace was perfect for relaxing with a great view. All of the staff (cleaning/pool) were extremely friendly and cheerful. We were also greeted with some treats and fresh fruit when we arrived. The property also has an outdoor shower and a covered parking space. All in all, we had a great time and would recommend ❤️

The house had the optimal location for our explorations on the west side of Crete. It is only a few minutes' drive from Georgiopolis. This gives you a quiet location but you can quickly reach the beach and the town with numerous taverns and shopping. In the village itself there is also a small tavern in which we ate delicious food. The house is equipped with everything we needed and we found it sparkling clean. The cleaning service within the week with new sheets and towels is, in our experience with other houses, great and not common! Upon arrival, we were surprised with homemade pastries and fresh fruit, super delicious😋! We had a great week and would rent the house again anytime. Thanks Persefoni, thanks Pavlos and family!! 🙏🙏

The two of us were there in June - the anticipation of the holiday was huge! Once there, the beautiful villa did not disappoint us: everything was very well maintained, clean and lovingly furnished, the facilities left nothing to be desired. Various handmade desserts and desserts were waiting for us in the fridge, which tasted just as good as they looked! A toast to the baker! We felt very welcome and very comfortable at all times. The area is rural and quiet, but you should definitely have a car. We were able to do many great things that were reachable by car in less than an hour: the Imbros gorge, the Myli gorge, the beautiful city of Chania, Lake Kournas, Venetian fountains in Gavalochori, etc. Maria came three times to clean the accommodation and changed sheets and towels. She was also just an angel, thank you Maria! All in all, it was perfect and we can definitely recommend the accommodation!
